Can I really start for free?
Yes. The free tier includes every readiness finding and fix guidance across all tiers, all security scans, cost analysis, monetization rails, observability, 1,000 tokens per month, and 5 user invites. No credit card required. You can go from prototype to charging your first users entirely on the free plan.
Why $49/month? What's the pricing based on?
We ran a Van Westendorp price sensitivity survey with our founding builder cohort. $49/month is the validated optimal price point — affordable enough to not think twice about (less than 20 minutes of most consultants' billing rate), but high enough to signal real value. It's also one-third to one-half the cost of assembling the equivalent DIY stack.
Can't I just do this myself with Stripe + Auth0 + a checklist?
You absolutely can. The question is: do you want to do it for every tool you build? That means becoming the full-time operator of 6+ tools — auth, billing, permissions, webhooks, invoices, monitoring, security — and maintaining that stack forever. What happens when I run out of tokens?
On the free plan, your 1,000 tokens reset monthly. If you need more, you can upgrade to Pro for 100,000 tokens per month — and unused Pro tokens roll over to the next month, so nothing goes to waste.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
The free tier IS the trial. Every readiness finding, every security scan, every fix instruction — all free. Pro is for builders who need more scanning and fixing velocity (100x more tokens), bigger teams (unlimited invites), and full production monitoring (90-day history).
What if I'm not ready to monetize yet?
That's exactly the transition we support. Start with the free tier for readiness checks and security scans. Use invite-only access to test with trusted users. When you're ready to charge, the monetization rails are already there. You don't need to flip to "full SaaS" on day one.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing is $490/year (equivalent to ~$41/month), saving you $98 compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time. No lock-in — it's simply a better rate for builders committed to shipping.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel Pro, you keep access until the end of your billing period, then revert to the free tier with all your projects intact. We'd rather earn your subscription every month than lock you in.
